Taking Back August is a Modern Metalcore band originating from Bucharest, which came into being in 2020. In the first two years of its existence, Taking Back August had many experiences and challenges, such as participating in the Posada Rock contest where they won first place, and Metal Gates Festival, also the vocal soloist Alex Precup, participated and ranked second at Superstar Romania 2021.
